Salon.com News | O'Neill: U.S. planned war in January '01 Paul O'Neill, as you probably know was the treasury secretary that Bush canned in December of 2002 when he criticized Bush's then-proposed 2nd round of tax cuts. What I want to know is, why didn't he say anything last year? Was he concerned that if he warns us about Bush his book deal might be jeopardized?
